YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #5

Ohhh, YSL! I cannot resist the beautiful packaging, but the high price can be off-putting.

I finally indulged in Rouge Volupte 5 after receiving a Sephora gift card.
Number 5 is a exclusive Sephora color. It's a pretty pinky berry color that is flattering and natural.

The texture is really light. It feels like a balm, but with the opacity of a lipstick.

Of course, who can ignore the luxurious gold tubing!
I think it will be awhile before I purchase more, but I absolutely love the one I own.

Holika Holika Heart Ful Moisture Lipstick Candy Red

Holika Holika is a beauty brand from South Korea. While it may not be as popular as Skin Food or The Face Shop, it is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands.

I've been on the hunt for a moisturizing red lipstick for awhile now. I was so happy when I found discovered the Holika Holika Heart Ful lipstick line.

As you can see, the lipstick bullet is carved into a heart shape! Not only is it super cute, but it's great because it makes the lipstick easy to apply.

Like the name states, it is very moisturizing  this lipstick does not emphasize my dry lips.

The color you see on the right is in the shade Candy Apple. It's the perfect pinky red, with not shimmers or frost.

Scent wise, it smells like delicious gummy candies!

MAC Lipsticks- Lovelorn & Lustering

MAC Lovelorn & Lustering

I never really had intentions to purchase MAC lipsticks ($15) but Youtube beauty gurus are pretty convincing. After much research, I setteled on the shades Lovelorn and Lustering.
Both are luster finishes, which means, according to MAC that it has a "wet-look lustre finish. Makes lips look soft, smooth, ultra-moist."

Lovelorn is a natural pink, which Lustering is a bright, but wearable hot pink. Both are nice since it brightens my complexion and does not emphasize my dry lips.

I'm very happy with my purchases! MAC's color selection can be overwhelming  so I recommend visiting a MAC store  & swatching the colors before buying any colors! Online color swatches can be deceiving, so it's best to be completely sure of the color before you spend your hard earned money!
